About Us : J.D. Bullington, New Mexico Lobbyist

J.D. Bullington is a veteran government relations professional and highly respected lobbyist. He has over 15 years of experience.

Prior to starting his own firm, J.D. was the vice president and in-house lobbyist for nine years at the Association of Commerce and Industry of New Mexico. He then joined the Brownstein Hyatt Farber Schreck law firm as a senior policy advisor to provide lobbying and government relations services for the firm's New Mexico clients from September 1, 2005 through September 15, 2009.

He is also a freelance musician, writer and former newspaper columnist.

He is the chairman of Leadership Santa Fe, vice chairman of the governing board for the New Mexico School for the Arts, a board member of the Santa Fe Chamber of Commerce, and an executive committee member and board member of New Mexico First.

On the personal side, he enjoys the outdoors and is an avid hiker, tennis player and fly fisherman.




Erin Muffoletto is an associate lobbyist and government relations consultant who is on contract with J.D. Bullington Government Relations, LLC. Erin is an employee of Ambitions Consulting Group—a multifaceted professional services firm located in Albuquerque, NM. Erin served as a legislative staffer for former State Representative Eric Youngberg, R-Albuquerque. Erin has also assisted other state lobbyists in supportive roles for the last two years.

Erin is the former student lobby director at The University of New Mexico, where she earned a bachelor's degree in political science. In that role, she advocated against unfavorable changes to the New Mexico Lottery scholarship program and acquired $260,000 in capital outlay funds for lighting on UNM's Johnson Field. While in college, she furthered her political aspirations by attending an internship with Presidential Classroom and mCapitol Management, a prestigious lobbying firm in Washington D.C.

She is very involved in her community and volunteers with the League of Women Voters of New Mexico, United Way of Central New Mexico, Best Buddies of New Mexico, and Make-A-Wish of New Mexico, just to name a few. She also enjoys golf, skiing, and kickball with the World Adult Kickball Association (WAKA).
